Event first due to an impending sale to Grosvenor Estates, back in April 2014. One Mayfair has since announced its plans to , however the date has been extended once more.
One Events and the property developer have currently pinned 20 March 2016 as the final event date, and this may well be extended again.
Andrew Morrow, head of events at One Events, said: "It was never going to be a simple handover. The property company has to get the planning exactly right and are still discussing their plans with all stakeholders.
"For us and the industry at large, this can only be a good thing as it allows more events to take place in this incredible venue."
Morrow added that looking forward, One Events is looking to eventually replace One Mayfair with another prime site. "We are always on the lookout for the next great venue," he said.
"There is one in the pipeline but it may take another few months before we can release any further news."
