OMD lands £80 million Sony PlayStation media account

LONDON - OMD has won Sony Computer Entertainment's £80 million consolidated international media account after a final pitch against rival incumbent network Mindshare.

The Omnicom-owned Manning Gottlieb OMD was the incumbent on SCE's UK
business for the past six years and OMD held the account in several of the other
European territories included in the review.
 
The pitch process, which was handled by Billetts, also involved networks
including MPG, Starcom MediaVest group and Vizeum.

OMD will handle the business across 12 markets, including the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Australia and New Zealand.
