Sony, which intends to consolidate its PlayStation business across 12 markets into one network, shortlisted the agencies following pitches that involved other networks including MPG, Starcom MediaVest Group and Vizeum.

A decision on the review, which is being co-ordinated through Billetts, is expected in May and the appointed agency will handle the business in 12 markets, including the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Australia and New Zealand.

PlayStation’s £14 million UK media account is currently held by Manning Gottlieb OMD.
