Ogilvy Interactive to redesign Brand Republic

LONDON - Haymarket Publishing has appointed Ogilvy Interactive to redesign Brand Republic after a competitive pitch

Ogilvy beat a number of interactive agencies taking part in a pitch to Brand Republic's management team to work on the site's identity, architecture and design.

As well as an update of the Brand Republic site, Ogilvy will develop new homepages for ±±¾©Èü³µpk10, Marketing and Media Week magazines, the Brand Republic jobs site and the family of email bulletins, which include the Brand Republic Bulletin, Media Bulletin and Digital and DM Bulletins.

Rufus Olins, managing director of Haymarket Brand Media, said "The redesigned site will provide a stronger platform for the magazines to publish breaking news, and develop the community among the thousands of media and marketing people that visit us everyday."

Edited by Gordon MacMillan, Brand Republic was launched on September 10 2001 and currently breaks over 40 stories a day, lists more then 3,200 jobs and has more then 300,000 articles archived from across the Haymarket titles. Its ten bulletins are sent daily to all sectors of the industry in the UK, North America and Asia.

John Baker, managing partner of OgilvyInteractive, said: "Brand Republic is one of only a few business websites that has become integral to the lives of its users. You can't be fully informed about what's happening in the communications industry without it.

"In the industry, the technology has changed to include video, user commentary and industry blogging - we are excited to help Haymarket take advantage of these changes."

Haymarket's marketing titles include ±±¾©Èü³µpk10, CEI Asia, Direct Response, Eye, Incentive Business, Marketing Direct, Marketing, Media Asia, Media Week, Promotions & Incentives, PRWeek, and Revolution.
