Ogilvy Group's 141 Worldwide to merge with Ogilvy Action

LONDON - Ogilvy Group is rebanding its global below-the-line network 141 Worldwide and the majority of its offices as Ogilvy Action.

Ogilvy Action will become the umbrella brand under that the group's below-the-line agencies will sit. This covers the UK market, where Steve Harding, 141 chief executive, will take overall charge of the newly named agency.

However, 141 will continue to have a presence in a few markets, including the UK, where some existing clients will still be managed under the 141 brand.

The Ogilvy Action network already extended across 18 worldwide offices, located in countries including France and Poland. It will now have a presence in 141's 29 offices.

The rejig does not affect Ogilvy Group's Dialogue Marketing Group, which will still be run as a standalone operation.

Ogilvy Action was launched at the beginning of the year to provide Ogilvy Group clients with "brand activation" services. The global operation is headed up by Rick Roth, the former 141 Worldwide chief executive.
