As part of the campaign, created by creative agency MCBD/Elvis, media agency Manning Gottlieb OMD and specialist agency Posterscope, Ocean's Media Wall shows messages to people passing the largest digital screen in Europe.
The screen "talks" to passers-by, delivering a personalised message to people in real time. The messages are tied into Virgin Trains' quickest route from Liverpool to London, which takes two hours and seven minutes.
The project is part of a "Weekends are back" campaign for Virgin Trains to highlight its faster and more frequent weekend service between Liverpool and London.
Messages include "We're faster than that number 45 bus", "Hey roadsweeper guy, we get to London in a tidy 2 hours and 7 minutes" and "Awwww baby in the pram! Try strolling in London".
A wider campaign for Virgin High Frequency is set to go live in May.
