Observer Standard Newspapers bought back by chairman

LONDON - Regional newspaper group Observer Standard Newspapers has been sold to new company Bullivant Media, owned by the group's former chairman Chris Bullivant, for an undisclosed sum.

The publishing group, which produces 18 local weekly newspaper titles, went into administration on 9 March. Bullivant expressed his interest in buying back the group from the outset.

Bullivant Media plans to keep all titles open intends to maintain the group's the 150-strong workforce.
