The mobile operator is following up on its sponsorship of last year's tour, headlined by Razorlight.
It is offering its customers tickets on the section of its website during the two days before their general release tomorrow.
Paul Samuel, head of sponsorship at O2, said: "O2 Music is proud to be working with the NME to bring a fantastic tour to student cities across the UK. Our involvement allows us to ensure O2 customers coming to the Rock'n'Roll Riot Tour can get extra privileges, such as prior access to tickets."
The tour starts in Manchester on October 15, visiting Leeds, Birmingham and London before ending in Glasgow on October 29. Lined up as support are Sunderland's Maximo Park and Wakefield's The Cribs.
NME editor Conor McNicholas said: "The Kaiser Chiefs are now a household name and one of the biggest British bands for years."
Their debut album 'Employment' was this week revealed as one of the contenders for the Mercury Music Prize.
O2's focus on music has most recently seen it sponsor the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park in May and June and offer customers exclusive downloads chosen by Groove Armada's Andy Cato this month.
