The Brit Awards with Mastercard celebrated its 30th anniversary this year and was previously held at .
"Since opened nearly three years ago we have wanted to host the Brit Awards, and I am absolutely thrilled that the dream has become reality," said AEG Europe (owners of The O2) president and chief executive David Campbell.
"We will ensure, along with the BPI, that the awards are the biggest and best yet, and are delighted to be the new home for the event."
It has also been announced that ITV will be the national broadcaster of the show for the next three years.
