Once downloaded, the tool enables users to automatically categorise their Facebook friends based on how often they interact with them online. It also allows them to organise their top 10 friends by dragging and dropping profile pictures into the desired order, as well as rewarding individuals by sending them a branded O2 message or striking them with a thunderbolt.
O2 is using the Facebook initiative to promote its Your O2 Numbers offer of a mix of 1000 minutes or text messages to 10 numbers for £5 a month, by helping consumers to identify which numbers they should pick.
The mobile operator made its Facebook debut last October, with a branded group, attracting more than 100,000 members in six weeks.
