Nuts TV to debut on Sky on 21 January

Nuts TV, the digital TV channel operated by Turner and IPC Media, is to expand its coverage by debuting on Sky next week.

Nuts TV airs via Freeview from 9pm to 1am daily. From 21 January, the channel will be available via the Sky satellite platform for eight hours daily from 7pm, expanding the number of homes able to access Nuts TV by more than eight million.

Separately, Nuts TV is to play a key role in a cross-media promotion booked by part owner Turner.

Turner Media Innovations has formed a collaboration with Nuts TV, IPC Media's Nuts magazine and Momentum Pictures, to support the DVD release of Quentin Tarantino's latest film Deathproof.

Damon Letzer, Turner's commercial director, said the cross-media campaign was a first for the company: "It's a unique opportunity to have a combination of press, TV, web and production in one partnership."
