Last night was the sixth year The O2 hosted the annual awards, which previously took place at the Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Conference Centre. Indigo TV produced the event.
Partners on the night included Benefit cosmetics, which provided makeovers to VIP guests in the . Magazine Heat created a Vine booth that uploaded mini video clips to its social media streams.
Other brands sponsoring the event included Highland Spring water, Fake Bake self tan, Debenhams and jewellery brand Tresor Paris.
Arena Seating installed 600 upholstered Diplomat VIP seats at the front section of The O2 Arena, reserved especially for nominees and winners of the awards such as Ant and Dec, David Tennant and Lenny Henry. Arena also delivered the iconic red carpet inside and outside the venue.
Martin Clark, project director at Arena Seating, said: "Our client Indigo TV needed to improve the venue’s in-house seating, offering VIP comfort to the award nominees. The upholstered, Diplomat seats were positioned in an exclusive location configured around the main stage, designed to not obstruct the camera shots during live transmission.
"We were delighted to be a sponsor at the NTAs and look forward to working with Indigo TV again."
The event in numbers:
- 20,000 people attended the live show – the maximum capacity of The O2
- It was the 14th consecutive year Ant & Dec won the NTA for best entertainment presenter
- Three were awards taken by EastEnders – the most won by any nominee on the night
- It was the second consecutive year Arena has sponsored the NTAs
- The NTA trophy weighs 1.745kg and stands at 35cm
- 150 limos brought the stars to The O2
- Dermot O’Leary has spent 12.5 hours hosting the event since 2010
