NSPCC sends out door-drop in bid to boost take-up

The NSPCC is targeting four million homes in an emotive door-drop campaign aimed at driving regular donations.

The envelope carries the message 'Help me please' written in a child's handwriting and was developed by WWAV Rapp Collins. The theme is continued inside with the story of Michael, an abused child.

It invites recipients to give a £2 monthly donation and is part of the charity's ongoing acquisition activity.

This is currently overseen by Marion Rose, who took over from Tim Hunter as head of direct donor marketing following his promotion to deputy director of fundraising.

NSPCC is expected to announce shortly if the position is permanent.
