The ads are due to air from today for a month before returning to the screens later in the year. The campaign will be supported by a range of online advertising, emails, direct mail and door drop activity.
The campaign will appear on regional and national screens during the day and early evening. The ads have been created by Kitcatt Nohr. This is the first TV advertising the agency has created for Norwich Union Healthcare since being appointed in December 2006.
Steve Cook, communications manager at Norwich Union Healthcare, said: "This campaign is part of our strategy to raise the profile of private healthcare and the positive role it can play in reducing the time patients wait to receive medical treatment in most cases. This will help raise awareness of Norwich Union as a leading provider of private healthcare and encourage people to think about how they can get well soon."
Norwich Union Healthcare was founded in 1990 as the healthcare arm of Norwich Union and now provides a range of income protection and private medical insurance products that cover over 870,000 lives. It is one of the largest providers of private medical insurance in the UK.
