NOP World Health unveils European management team

LONDON - NOP World Health has unveiled its new European senior management team following the integration and restructure earlier this year of the company's three healthcare businesses into a single global agency.

The restructure brought together Market Measures/Cozint, NOP Healthcare and the Strategic Marketing Corporation.

Based in London, the European management team represents a combined force of new and existing healthcare directors, which includes the return of David Bayton to NOP World Health as European head of research.

Bayton spent more than a decade at NOP, heading the international research team between 1988 and 1999 before moving on to Research International and, latterly, Synovate where he held key roles in healthcare business development.

Christine Corner moves into a new role as European head of sales and business development, having previously headed up the European division of Strategic Marketing Corporation. Corner previously held positions at Silver Fern Research and also at Taylor Nelson Sofres.

Joining Corner will be Ian Pike, who joins her team as European business development director, where he will continue his work on the global diabetes patient programme. He previously spent 10 years working at GfK, Maritz, AGB and Roper Starch Worldwide, which is now also part of NOP World.

Charles Chaine joins the team as a director, having previously been with Novo Nordisk where he was head of international market research, first in Denmark and then in the UK. In addition, Chaine held senior positions at TNS Intersearch and Harris Promark.

According to Bayton: "This has been an important year for NOP World Health, having successfully completed the restructuring phase, we're now in a position to provide enhanced client services with teams dedicated to clients in Europe, who will benefit from the close working relationship with NOP World Health colleagues in the US."
