Nokia kicks off search for entertainment reporter

LONDON - Nokia is offering would-be showbiz reporters the chance to realise their dreams, as part of a launch campaign for its smartphone, X6 16GB.

Hopefuls who would like to be selected as a X6 16GB All Areas entertainment reporter are invited to .

A celebrity judging panel including singers Paloma Faith, Jameela Jamil and comedy actor Matt Horne, will then choose six finalists to report from six showbiz events around the world.

Nokia has partnered with Bauer Media’s celebrity and lifestyle magazines to support the competition.

Teams from 4Music, Kiss, Grazia, FHM, Heat and Empire will mentor and coach the finalists, and will showcase the finalists’ coverage from each event in their brands.

The finalists kick off their assignments at the Nokia X6 launch party in London on 3 March.

They will also report from Hollywood for Oscars week and Rihanna’s European tour. Other events lined up for them include the Spanish F1 Grand Prix and the Belvedere Vodka party at Cannes Film Festival in May.

The campaign was created by Nokia, Bauer Media, Carat Sponsorship and Mission Media PR.
