Nike announces new global running event series

Nike is set to visit cities across the globe from 13 March, as part of its NikeWomen Victory Tour series of running events.

Women of all fitness levels are invited to take part in the events, which include 10km to marathon Nike+ Run Club (NRC) races and five-hour long Nike+ Training Club (NTC) tour training experiences.

The NRC races will feature new courses and additional services for runners, such as access to specialised coaches, bra fitting sessions and product trialling opportunities.

The NTC events will be led by Nike Master Trainers, and include training sessions such as yoga, cycle spinning and boxing.

Participating cities that are not hosting NRC races or NTC sessions will provide running or training events with Nike Master Trainers, NRC Coaches or elite athletes. 

The tour will begin in Nagoya, Japan on 13 March and go on to visit a total of 20 cities, including London, Barcelona, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Rio de Janeiro.

Last year saw more than 200,000 women complete their first half marathon, 10km run or NTC challenge as part of the Nike Women's Event Series.
