Nick Jr promotes debut of 'Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom'

LONDON - Preschool TV channel Nick Jr is mounting a campaign spanning TV, magazines and online to promote its new animated series, Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom.

The print and TV marketing campaign has been developed by Nickelodeon UK and media agency Joshua G2.

The TV ads will roll out across channels including ITV2, GMTV and Living. Print ads will appear in weekly women's titles including Heat, Closer, Best, Reveal, Fabulous and Celebs on Sunday. Online ads, created by Mind Orchard, will run on MSN, Disney, Boomerang, Milkshake! and Cartoonito.

The campaign for Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom features actual children joining in with play inspired by their favourite characters from the channel.

The TV creative follows two young children as they explore the garden of their suburban home.

In addition to this activity, there will be a promotional page in the latest issue of Peppa Pig magazine and Nick Jr has launched a microsite at www.nickjr.co.uk, which will feature games.
