The Next Big Thing, an X Factor-style competition organised by Event UK and sponsored by Sternberg Clarke, IML and Event magazine, is set up to find the latest entertainment talent for the corproate event market.

After battling his way through two heats Kev scooped the prestigious prize at Event UK in September 2009, and this weekend wowed Britain's Got Talent juding panel of Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden with his comedy act.

He will be performing on the ITV show this week and viewers will have the opportunity to vote him into the final.

Hosted by Event magazine editor Jeremy King the winner of the competition will win a £1,000 cash prize courtesy of Sternberg Clarke, and a contract with the corporate entertainment agency.
