Following on from the naming rights successes of The O2 and Barclaycard at Wembley, the new venue, to be called the Scottish Hydro Arena, is already being referred to as The Hydro.

Scottish Hydro is committed to investing £1.5m per year over the next ten years into The Hydro, which will have a seating capacity of 12,000.

AEG Worldwide assisted in securing the sponsorship deal, and will continue to assist in finding commercial sponsorship for the new venue.
