LONDON - Thomson Directories has launched a new UK search engine with a pay-per-click feature, which the company claims will send targeted leads to advertisers.

The site is located at , and is monitored by an editorial team to ensure that search results are relevant as well as family friendly.

Thomson has already signed Freeserve, AltaVista and the online street directory Streetmap to take content. The company hopes to attract regular advertisers as well as developing the pay-per-click advertising.
