New ITV show pits amateur cooks against celebrity chef

LONDON – ITV is pitting amateur chefs against celebrity chef Gino D'Acampo to see who can come up with the tastiest dish in 'Chef v Britain.'

The amateur chefs will make their "signature dish", which will go head-to-head with the same dish cooked by 'This Morning' chef D'Acampo.

The winner will be decided by members of the community such as the local fire service or group of schoolchildren.

Actress Claire Sweeney, who presented ITV's '60-Minute Makeover' and most recently starred in the West End show 'Chicago', will present the show.

ITV is currently looking for amateur chefs to take part, with filming commencing in March. The 15 x 30-minute shows are due to air this summer.
