Itraffic was rocked by a series of senior executive departures earlier this year. Managing director Jon Sharpe, marketing director Ethan Segal and client services director Matt Gorzkowski all left itraffic in August to set up their own digital agency.
Itraffic handles the online advertising accounts for a number of high-profile brands including British Airways, Cahoot and Wanadoo.
Eastman has been acting managing director and head of client services at Agency.com UK until his formal appointment this week, and prior to that was heading up Agency.com Amsterdam.
Eastman and Hobsbawm were part of Online Magic, one of the original interactive agencies that was bought by Omnicom and made into Agency.com. Hobsbawm will take on a broader role as European managing director of Agency.com once a replacement for Sharpe and his peers at itraffic is found -- although a spokeswoman said this week that no time-limit had been put on the appointment.
Hilary Kelsh, an independent business development consultant, has also been brought on board by Agency.com as business development director to fill the hole left by Craig Patten, who left the interactive company earlier this year to join mobile marketing specialist Flytxt.
