The three-year deal will see Northampton-based Neptunus providing more than 10,000 sqm of temporary structures to this year's event to be staged at Y Bala, in Merionnydd, North Wales, on 26-31 May. The event is expected to attract more than 100,000 visitors.

Neptunus will build a festival village incorporating a 2,000-seater main performance pavilion, with numerous other structures forming dedicated cultural theatres for dance, music and singling, as well as specialist exhibition areas for arts and crafts and science and technology.

The company is also supplying a range of support facilities, including television and radio studios and changing areas.

April Trasler, managing director for Neptunus UK, said: "The Urdd National Eisteddfod is well established as one of the biggest cultural festivals for young people. We look forward to developing a successful relationship with the organisers."
