
The team has been split to cover four specific areas: venue sales, sales and customer support, business development and managed events.
Customers will now have the same contact throughout the organising process, said NEC managing director Kathryn James.
"Similar changes have already taken place within other parts of the business, where we’re already seeing increased levels of positive feedback, and know this can also be repeated in our sales area," she explained.
"By moving away from the multiple handling of relationships we have become a much easier venue to do business with," she added.
The news completes the final stage of the exhibition venue’s sales team restructure, which began in 2009.
