NatWest parts company with TBWA\GGT

LONDON - NatWest has parted company with its lead direct marketing agency TBWA\GGT, just months after completing a review of the 拢20m business.

The bank launched a review of the business in August last year. Presentations are understood to have been made in September and the agency held on to the work.

TBWA\GGT had been expected to lose the account in 2001, when NatWest's 拢30m above-the-line account was moved out of TBWA\London into M&C Saatchi, following the bank's takeover by Royal Bank of Scotland.

TBWA\GGT handled all NatWest's DM apart from credit cards, which have been handled by Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voelkel and Lowe Live since early 2001.
