The Nature Conservancy enlists celebs and tech firms for VR campaign

Virtual sculptures explain the dire condition of the global food supply

An immersive virtual reality experience from the Nature Conservancy highlights the plight of global fish stocks, a food source 40% of the world depends on. Built on the Unreal video game engine, the narration by Kieran Culkin and virtual gallery sculptures play in response to viewer actions, not simply on a predetermined track as seen in the video here. The experience premieres Thursday at an influencer event in San Francisco, and campaign ambassadors include Facebook’s Matt Idema, engineer Tray Chou and Anthony Goldbloom from data science firm Kaggle. The tuna project is the first in the multi-year "This Is Our Future 北京赛车pk10."
