This means London Fashion Week will be held in the heart of the capital for the first time. Its most recent home was the Natural History Museum, and before that Olympia.

"Somerset House is pleased to welcome the BFC as a new cultural partner. Also in September we will be opening a major exhibition by Showstudio, opening up the world of fashion to a wide audience," said Somerset House Trust director Gwyn Miles.
