Nationwide in push with five web partners

Building society Nationwide is launching an e-commerce drive with an initial six-figure media deal with five partner sites, including Ask Jeeves and AOL.

Running for 12 months, the promotion will focus on insurance, current accounts, credit cards, mortgages and loans.

Nationwide's digital agency, Tribal DDB, created the activity, which includes keyword deals with pay-for-performance search engines Espotting and Overture. A tenancy agreement has also been secured with Find, Ask Jeeves and AOL.

Mik Hodsdon, senior marketing controller at Nationwide, said: "We are now looking at more integration and what spaces could be best for us."
