Natasha Bedingfield scoops 3's first mobile video award

LONDON - Pop singer Natasha Bedingfield has won the first award for music video downloads to mobile phones as the most watched British artist on 3's video jukebox.

Around 10m videos have been watched since the video jukebox service launched on 3 in August 2004, the only network that provides full-length music videos.

The award saw Bedingfield beat off tough competition from the likes of Robbie Williams and rapper Dizzee Rascal.

Bedingfield was handed the award as she rehearsed for an intimate gig at the Institute of Contemporary Arts. She said: "I am delighted to receive this award as recognition of all the hard work that goes into making my music videos.

"3's video jukebox is a great new way for my fans to watch my videos on the move."

Celebrity jewellery designer Jonny Rocket designed the award, with past achievements including creating jewellery for Kylie Minogue, Jodie Kidd, Macy Gray, Fatboy Slim and Boy George.

3's video mobile network has more than 2.5m customers having access to its range of 3G services. Music videos are priced at 拢1.50 and are available to stream or download to the handset.
