Music videos from Warner artists will be developed by MTV Networks via streamed and downloaded video-on-demand through the company's brands including MTV, VH1 and The Music Factory.
Edgar Bronfman, chairman and chief executive of Warner Music Group, said: "This is a highly unique and exciting relationship, one that helps us to realise the full potential of our music video assets while giving Warner Music's emerging and established artists new platforms for reaching more of their fans on a global scale."
In total, 400m subscribers across Europe, Asia and Latin America will be able to access the videos. Phone carriers in each market will determine whether consumers buy subscriptions, a la carte services or a combination.
Judy McGrath, chairman and chief executive officer of MTV Networks, said: "This is a great leap forward in the evolution of our mobile video strategy, and we look forward to developing more exciting initiatives in this space over the year to come."
MTV is the only media company to which Warner has licensed its video roster to create programming.
It will pave the way for other record labels to sign licensing deals with broadcasters or mobile content providers so their portfolio of artists can gain maximum exposure.
