
In his new role Drese will lead pan-regional sales activities for VIMN's multinational clients with a specific focus on the German market. He will be based in London where he will report to Antonio Canto, senior vice president of VBSI, VIMN.
The role of vice president of international sales has been created in response to the growth in international business VBSI has experienced in the past 12 months. Drese will work closely with the local German Viacom Brand Solutions team.
Most recently Drese has been managing director at social engagement agency MCBX, where he was responsible for establishing the business from start-up and worked with clients such as MSN, mobile operator 3 and EA Games.
Drese joined MCBX in August 2010 from Universal Music joint venture All The Worlds where he was managing partner from June 2008. He was involved in establishing F1 Rocks, a series of live music events from F1 locations.
Drese worked at VIMN for seven years up to 2007 as vice president international marketing and events. He was responsible for all marketing, trade marketing and events including the MTV EMAs, Isle of MTV and WinterJam.
