The newsletter aims to offer a personal and interactive experience to provide customers with relevant information including the top stories of the day and useful hints and tips.
It includes demos, graphics and animations built in Flash and will be accessible via a teaser email only received by MSN subscribers. AKQA, MSN's lead digital marketing agency, developed the new email newsletter format.
Amanda Anthony, digital marketing manager at , said: "Our objective was to combine great design, targeted information and member benefits to provide users with really relevant and useful information which will in turn have a positive impact on customer loyalty. This new version is interactive and informative and is a real step forward from the previous two dimensional customer newsletter."
Stephanie Porter, account director at AKQA, explained: "The Flash newsletter template allows us to target communications to different subscriber segments in a cost-efficient way. MSN subscriber communications are both consistent in design and personalised in content."
