Universal McCann's communication planning director Martyn Stokes has been appointed as director of strategy to work on ING Direct, TUI and Pernod Ricard UK.
Cathy Wright, a founding partner of All Response Media, has been appointed as client service director on ING Direct. With more than 20 years' industry experience on accounts such as the AA, RAC and Sun Alliance, Wright will join in September.
Carat International account director Alexandra Russell will take on the newly created role of client service director on MPG's luxury brands roster. At Carat, she ran the Buena Vista Home Entertainment account across 13 European markets.
MPG has also appointed Mindshare's John Broughton as head of direct, working within media contacts to drive the group's offering to all direct response advertisers.
Finally, the group has promoted former human resources consultant and lecturer Sue White to head up MPG's Learning and Development team, which develops and nurtures talent across the agency.
