Her role will focus on the giftware, fashion, jewellery, home furnishings and homeware sectors.
Before joining i2i Events, Truesdale spent six years as international sales and marketing manager with Ambiente for Messe Frankfurt, and three years as trade show manager of Intima America. Truesdale has also worked with VNU Expositions and Urban Expositions.
Hans Stoter, international sales director at i2i Events, said: "Katherine has a wealth of experience and we are delighted to welcome her to i2i Events Group. We have identified North America as a key growth area for some of our established events, and Katherine will work to initiate and develop our links with the market and increase our exhibitor and visitor representation from the region."
