Your Move launches first TV ad by new creative agency Skinny

Your Move, the estate agency chain, will launch its first TV ad tonight after appointing Manchester-based Skinny as its creative agency.

It follows a competitive pitch in which Skinny went up against TBWA\Manchester and Home.

The ad, created and produced by Skinny and entitled "it pays to be with Your Move" will launch on ITV this evening (11 January) during Coronation Street. It will also be shown on Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky.

The ad features a Your Move estate agent who attracts a crowd of followers and potential property buyers.

Creative agency Skinny was set up in March 2015 and offers both creative and production under one roof. It has also worked with clients Farm Foods and Acorn Insurance.

Founding partner Tony Durston is a former creative director at CHI & Partners, while partner Nicki Casey has run TV departments in creative agencies and her own production company.

Durston said: "Having made a lot of work in a lot of agencies, it becomes clear what you need to make a good ad, and what you don’t.

"This is in essence what Skinny is all about: Stripping out the things that aren’t needed – which not only saves clients time and money, but leads to a less frustrating process for both parties and, we believe, a better end result.

"It’s brilliant to be able to launch Skinny properly with a great new campaign for a great new client."

Your Move's first TV spot will be followed by radio, direct mail and online ads. Havas Media planned and bought the media.

Louise Hudson, marketing director for Your Move said: "Your Move has a nationwide presence therefore national TV advertising is the ideal media to generate greater brand awareness for us.

"The appeal of Skinny is that they allow their clients direct contact with the creative director so nothing is lost in translation and decisions about the campaign and TV advertisement were made more quickly. Having creative and production under one roof made for a smoother process with a better result at the end of it."
