To mark the launch of the Motorola PEBL handset, 180 Amsterdam has developed a TV campaign, directed by David Fincher, the man behind 'Fight Club' and 'Se7en'. Compressing millions of years into 30 seconds, the TV spot depicts the development of the smooth, pebble-shaped phone over time. The ad follows the path of an asteroid as it smashes into a prehistoric landscape, where it is eroded by the elements, swallowed by a glacier and lost in the ocean. It is finally washed up on a beach as the Moto PEBL, where it is discovered by mankind.
