Motorola is releasing a series of TV spots in the US to promote its Moto X phone. The ads were created by Droga5 in conjunction with Digitas and star the comedian TJ Miller. They show a frustrated phone-owner struggling to get their mobile to perform a command, such as play music, show messages or shoot video footage. Then follows a demonstration of how Motorola’s latest device holds the answers to all these problems. In each of the ads, Miller plays the part of the phone. They were created by Sam Cannon, Mike Frank and Mark Semon, and directed by Speck and Gordon through Furlined.
