Motorola and Palm to deliver smart phones

Mobile phone manufacturer Motorola and handheld mobile device maker Palm have announced a joint venture in which they will produce a line of smart phones combining handheld computing with mobile telephony.

LONDON (Brand Republic) – Mobile phone manufacturer Motorola and handheld mobile device maker Palm have announced a joint venture in which they will produce a line of smart phones combining handheld computing with mobile telephony.

The first co-branded phone is slated for release in early 2002. This will follow Microsoft’s Stinger smart phone expected next year.
