The push, created by Karmarama, will run across donated media space, and span TV, print and digital. Women's Day takes place on 8 March.

On Mother's Day, the charity launched its Million Mums campaign. It aims to raise £1m and register the support of 1m people in the UK for reducing global mortality rates among mothers.

Sarah Brown, the Prime Minister's wife, is a patron of the charity, while its members include model Naomi Campbell and journalist Eve Pollard.
