The announcement builds on a successful relationship, announced in December 1999, that introduced Monster.com's career services across America Online in the US.
The European deal replicates the AOL-Monster relationship in the US, and tailors it to the specific needs of the European market.
Monster will be prominently featured and promoted across AOL Europe properties in the UK, Germany and France and will provide job seekers instant access to more than 1m global job opportunities in the Monster network.
It will also provide CV tools, postings and databases; executive search, selection and outplacement; and other information linking prospective employers with applicants.
In addition, AOL members can use Monster's industry CV builder and its range of career-related information including interviewing, job search techniques, and advice through the careers channel of the AOL UK, Germany and France services.
Jeff Taylor, founder of Monster.com and global director interactive TMP Worldwide, said, "With this alliance, Monster strengthens its position as the overall leading European career site and the premier destination for job seekers worldwide."
