Open on Ely's Yard/Hanbury Street in east London until 26 July, Neave's Pop Down Bar has been named after the whisky's UK brand ambassador Grant Neave.
The bar will aim to turn the usual nightlife experience on its head. At the door, bouncers will be replaced by doormen who have been professionally trained in etiquette, greeting customers with smiles, jokes and flowers.
Cocktail tasters will be available for guests who are waiting in the queue for a beverage, while Monkey Shoulder will give visitors a secret name to drop at the bar in exchange for 'mates rates' tokens. There will also be a wardrobe located in the bar for those who feel too overdressed for the occasion.
Experimental caterers will create 'manapés' such as duck donuts, deep-fried Mars Bars and Monkey Shoulder jellies, designed to be enjoyed with cocktails featuring the brand's whisky. The pop-up will also feature a hashtag printer that when used, will provide participants with a free pint as well as the chance to win prizes.
ACA Live worked with Monkey Shoulder to create the bar.
Neave said: "We listened to Brits' main bug bears about enjoying a night out and used that insight to reinvent the experience.
"Neave's Pop Down is not just another pop-up. It defies expectations, challenges convention and encourages everyone to pop down and have some fun."
