The site, which will roll out to portal partners as a white-label service, aims to generate several thousand quotes a day.
Insuresupermarket.com uses intelligent robots to gather quick quotes from the sites of more than 26 online direct insurers and brokers and aggregates them onto one web page.
The site aims to save consumers time, hassle and money when they buy insurance. It has been designed to replicate the look and feel of moneysupermarket.com, but will house all the main insurance-comparison tools while moneysupermarket.com has other financial offers.
Insurers will pay a one-off fee for each business introduction.
Moneysupermarket.com Financial Group chief executive Simon Nixon said: "Our company has some of the best look-to-apply ratios in the UK, which we are intending to replicate with insuresupermarket.com."
