The awards, which will return to London for the first time in five years for their 19th year, will take place on 22 October at The SSE Arena, Wembley. The event will feature a line-up of performers including Jessie J, Professor Green, Krept and Konan and Nicole Scherzinger, and will be broadcast live with a thirty-second delay straight to ITV2 as part of a new three-year partnership.
Logistik, which will be working directly alongside MOBO on the 2014 awards, will be using a streamlined team to deliver the final product from creation to inception.
James Wilkins, joint managing director at Logistik, said: "It is always a pleasure and an honour to work with MOBO on their iconic event and we hold the responsibility and relationship that we have with Kanya King and the organisation in extremely high regard.
"The team have built up a relationship of trust and reliability over the past nine years that have almost made Logistik a constant in the production and allows us to work to an exceptionally high level in order to deliver this phenomenal event. It is always great to have the opportunity to work with live performances and have to consider the scale and impact of an event across television as well as live. These are challenges we enjoy facing every year and with this new partnership with ITV2, this year’s awards are certain to be spectacular."
Kanya King, MOBO Awards founder, added: "We are very pleased to be working with Logistik once more and for what is astonishingly or perhaps unsurprisingly the ninth year. After nearly two decades we are constantly in need of growth and development and find the confidence and trust that we have in such a versatile agency to be a significant aid to the seamless production of the events.
"We are very excited about all of the new elements that will be showcased this year as well as the air of history that is so strongly associated with the awards."
