The company will be headed up by James Wilkins, who joined in 2006 and was made joint managing director three years ago.
German-born Mischendahl decided to set up a new company, called Demon Leisure, in Leeds in June. Working with Seema Dhuman of Demon Consultants, the duo will launch their first bar, The Brotherhood of Pursuits and Pastimes, in the region next month.
Wilkins said: "It has been a pleasure and an honour working with and learning from Dirk over the past ten years, we have built an incredibly strong friendship and partnership and are intricately entwined in each other’s lives. I am as excited to see what he does next as he is to watch Logistik.
"This is a truly exciting moment in our history as we look to break new ground and leap into the future of our company whilst playing the due respect and thanks to our past."
Mischendahl added: "Logistik has been an enormous part of my life and I am extremely proud of all that it has achieved for myself and its many wonderful employees. This is an extremely exciting moment for me and my family and I am delighted to be turning my hand to new things as I watch Logistik grow and burgeon from a distance.
"It has been a pleasure working with James and I leave knowing that the company I built is in the very best of hands, he is the brother that I never had and the partnership and friendship that we have built in the last ten years will continue."
Logistik's work includes the MOBO Awards, which took place last night (22 October) in London at The SSE Arena, Wembley. It is the ninth consecutive year the agency has organised the annual music awards event.
The agency's client roster consists of Lloyds Banking Group, BT, Natwest Asda, Marks & Spencer and EDF.
