BDW was established by its chief executive Robert Day in 1989 and currently employs 68 staff, who will all become employees of the Mission Marketing Group as part of the sale.
The agency provides clients with marketing, advertising and media services for clients including housing companies Bellway and Crest Nicholson.
Under the Think BDW and Think Media brands, the company now operates in three locations, two in Colchester, Essex and one office in central London.
Recent work undertaken by BDW includes the marketing for the development of The Stadium, the new residential development replacing Arsenal's Highbury ground after the club's move to the Emirates Stadium, and the Bellways Park Royal development of the Guinness Brewery development.
