Regional Mission to float on the AIM

The chairman of the Conservative Party, Francis Maude, is looking to create the UK's largest regional agency by floating his Mission Marketing Group on the Alternative Investment Market, freeing funds for further expansion.

Mission was created in 2002 and acquired two marketing agencies, Big Communications and Fuse Digital, in early 2005.

Once AIM quoted, Mission will be able to complete its acquisition of regional agency Bray Leino for £24.5m, rising to £32.5m if Bray Leino achieves agreed growth targets.

The acquisition will allow Mission to set up a national regional network in key areas.
