The two-week campaign, which kicks off today (18 September), will feature an online celebrity-spotting competition to promote the latest Samsung B3310 handset.
The winner will be rewarded with a place alongside 3am.co.uk reporters at the Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain awards on October 5.
The Samsung campaign was brokered by Mworks, Samsung's advertising agency, and Mirror Group's head of digital, Paul Hood.
The newspaper launched the 3am website last month, claiming it would revolutionise online celebrity coverage.
Its launch followed that of Mirrorfootball.co.uk, as part of Trinity Mirror's plans to expand its digital reach into fresh content areas.
