Tessa Jowell, minister for the Olympics and London, addressed a summit organised by Visit London in late July in one of her first engagements following the cabinet reshuffle.
The Visit London Tourism Summit, on the challenges and opportunities presented by the 2012 Olympics and the challenges of climate change, attracted around 200 industry leaders. They also heard from Paul Deighton, chief executive of LOCOG and Eurostar chief executive Richard Brown.
