Mini used Iris Experience for the launch of its Mini Scooter E Concept in London this week, and Event has exclusive pictures of the unveiling.

The scooter was designed to reflect Mini’s ‘swinging 60s’ heyday and the launch, in Soho’s Vinyl Factory, just around the corner from Carnaby Street, took visual clues from that era.

The former car park, which is now a popular event space, was transformed with display sets and a DJ area where Little Boots performed, along with DJ Russ Cuban.

The crowd enjoyed a British menu, including scampi and chips, beef burger and Cornish crab.

The scooter designs were revealed by BMW Group Design senior vice president Adrian van Hooydonk.
